Can I book sessions directly through the TutorPal app?
No. The app is designed for schedules, feedback, homework tracking, and communication.
• Small group classes run on fixed timetables; parents can view these in the app.
• 1-on-1 classes are arranged directly with the tutor or centre, then displayed in the app
once confirmed.
What subjects and programs does TutorPal cover?

• Academics – English, Mathematics, General Ability
• Exam Prep – NAPLAN, ICAS, selective entry (NSW OC, VIC Selective, NSW Selective, QLD

How do I track my child’s progress?
Instead of waiting for formal reports, parents can log in anytime to see:
• Attendance records
• Homework completion
• Assessment results
• Tutor comments & feedback
What’s the difference between small group and 1-on-1 tutoring?
• Small group → Our primary model. Builds peer interaction, structured pacing, and
shared motivation.
• 1-on-1 → Arranged on request. Provides fully personalised support and flexible
scheduling.
What if my child is ahead or behind their year level?
The initial assessment helps place every student at the right skill level, not just their grade. This
ensures your child works at a pace that’s achievable yet challenging.
How do payments work?
• Most classes are billed per term, in advance.
• Accepted methods: EFTPOS, bank transfer, or Stripe (online).
• 1-on-1 classes may allow flexible payment arrangements.
Can I change tutors if I’m not satisfied?
Yes, families can switch tutors or centres. However, fees already paid are non-refundable mid-
term. The recommended approach is to complete the current term and move to a different
tutor/centre at the next billing cycle.
Will my child get homework or extra practice?
Yes. Students receive printed workbooks, digital resources, and access to the homework
tracker in the TutorPal app.
Do you prepare for selective school and scholarship exams?
Yes. We offer structured preparation with practice exams, strategies, and targeted lessons for:
• NAPLAN (Years 3, 5, 7, 9)
• ICAS Assessments
• NSW OC & Selective entry
• VIC, NSW, QLD, WA (GATE) selective programs
• Scholarships (EDUTEST & ACER)

• Marketing templates & local support
• Ready-to-use curriculum & assessment library
• TutorPal platform (scheduling, billing, reporting, messaging)
• Ongoing business and recruitment guidance
Where can I open a franchise?
Franchises are exclusive per suburb. TutorPal assists with market research to identify areas with
strong demand.
What are the costs to open a franchise?
Costs vary based on location and size. After a discovery call, our team provides a full breakdown
of fees, royalties, and setup requirements.
Do I need teaching experience?
No. A passion for education is enough. We provide the curriculum, platform, and training you’ll
need to run a successful tutoring franchise.
What makes TutorPal’s franchise model unique?
• Lower setup costs compared to other tutoring brands
• Choice of individual tutor franchise (online/home/library) or centre franchise (exclusive
suburb)
• All-in-one tech platform for management
• Access to proven curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum
Can I run both small group and 1-on-1 classes?
Yes. Small groups are encouraged as the primary delivery model, but centres may also offer 1-
on-1 depending on demand.
